| | | | The picture below shows a larger view of this 1963 South Weymouth Massachusetts Naval Air Station Air Show Advertising Ticket. The back side is blank except for the Globe Ticket Company security watermark as seen on the front. This was for the 10th Anniversary Air Show on September 14th & 15th of 1963. The air show featured The Blue Angels, The U.S. Navy’s Flight Demonstration Team, and The Shooting Stars, The U.S. Navy’s Parachute Jumping Team. The ticket was also for a raffle drawing. The prizes included a 1963 Chevrolet Impala Super Sport SS Convertible car, a 21'' RCA Victor Color television, a Polaroid Land camera, and transistor radios. The drawing was held on September 15th 1963. The left side is perforated. The ticket or ticket stub measures about 3-7/8'' x 2-3/8''. It appears to be in near mint to mint condition as pictured. |
