| | | | The picture below shows two larger views of these Old Embossed Metal Huyler’s Candy Advertising Sample Serving Tongs. Around the bend area these are marked “HUYLER’S”. These are made of a gold colored metal and have clam shell, and scroll type designs all over. They were made to be used for candy samples, or serving candies. They could also be used for sugar cubes as well. The small tongs were most likely used as an advertising premium giveaway. They are not dated but they are believed to be from the late 1800s or the early 1900s. The candy tongs measure about 3'' long. They appear to be in excellent condition as pictured. |
