The year on the Franconia, N.H. postmark is faint but it appears to be from October 12, 1917 and it was sent to a Rye Beach, New Hampshire address. It has a green George Washington one cent postage stamp. It has a written message. The post card has a photo image of a church, Post Office, and a house. There is a divided back and it is marked on the front and back as follows: POST OFFICE SQUARE, FRANCONIA, N.H. 46.
