The three battery rockets or missiles on the poster are die cut to stand out. This poster was made in December 1960 for grocers, store owners, and photo shops. The poster was to market free premium Bright Star Photo Flash Batteries with Sylvania Blue Dot Super Flash Bulbs. The poster speaks of how the promotion will be marketed including: (radio - television) commercials on NBC, ABC, and CBS, photo magazine advertisements, point of sale pieces (pictured), a 3-D counter card (pictured), window banners (pictured), and newspaper ad mats (pictured). Sylvania was a subsidary of General Telephone & Electronics. The poster measures 23-1/2'' x 10-3/4''. It is in near mint condition as pictured. |
