The picture shows an inside and outside view of this Unused 1940s Homefront U.S. Army Soldier Sweetheart Greeting Card. It has a cute image of a young lady looking at her Soldier boyfriend's picture with American flags. The inside has milatary images. It reads as follows:

To A Boy Friend In The Service
No rubber for the girdle,
No silk to dress me up,
No gas to run the buggy,
No sugar for my cup
No boy friend that I care for, --
He's fighting Jap and Hun,
Excuse me, Dear, but honest,
This damn war ain't no fun!

The card was made in the U.S.A. and closed it measures 4-1/2'' x 5-3/4''. It is in excellent to near mint unused condition as pictured.
