| | | The picture shows a front and back view of this Old Nautical Syroco Sailing Ship Wall Plaque With Oars. This Syroco (compressed sawdust material) plaque is not dated but it is old. It is believed to be from the 1930s or 1940s. It may hhave been made to hold neck ties. There is a partial label on the back but it can't be read. The plaque has a painted sailing ship at the top and five oars on each side. The oars look like they are on the wooden deck of a boat. There is a brass hook in the center and a hole to hang it on a wall above it. It measures 6-3/4'' x 10''. It appears to be in mint condition except for some old masking tape glue on the back that can be removed if desired. |
