These are not dated but they were made in the 1940s, immediately following World War II. They are painted or glazed in multiple colors. He has (6) holes on the top and she has (5). They have their original cork stoppers in the bottom, and They are marked on the bottom as follows: MADE IN OCCUPIED JAPAN To judge the sizes the the Dutch girl measures about 3-1/4'' tall. The set appears to be in excellent condition as pictured. If you look with a magnifying glass you can see that they have some tiny age crazing. |
