The picture shows all (8) Old Atlantic City & Steel Pier Area Color 35mm Photograph Slides in this lot. These are Ektachrome slides and they were all taken at the same time from someone's trip there. They are not dated, but are believed to be from the 1950's. One image is of the boardwalk with many signs and billboard advertising. Some that can be seen in this image are from the Steel Pier, Planter's Peanuts, Coppertone, The Kingston Trio, and more. Another image shows the Steel Pier with it's sign a Coca-Cola billboard, Sea-Ski sign and more. Next is one that has an image of a tourist ship docked at a nice looking loading pier. There is a motel image where the family stayed with lots of old cars. This one as well as others with cars helpful in dating these. There is a nice image of the seashore with a light house. One image is on a small old highway with a sign that reads: "3 Miles - AAA - MADISON HOUSE - FINE FOOD - COCKTAILS" Another image is at an airport with many more nice old automobiles and airplanes behind them. The last image appears to be an apartment building, or maybe a hospital. Again, there are many more old cars in this one. The slides measure 2" x 2". They appear to be in mint condition. |
