| | | | The picture below shows larger top and bottom views of this Colorful Old Lithographed Tin Cartoon or Comic Lion Character Miniature Toy Spinner Top. The top is not dated but it is believed to be from the 1950s. We had acquired this top in an old Cracker Jack Toy surprise collection but we have not been able to identify it. It was probably purchased from an old five and dime store. The top pictures a lion cartoon or comic character playing a small piano and music notes. It is marked “JAPAN” but the maker is unknown. The miniature toy clock measures about 1-5/8'' wide. It appears to be in good used condition with some over all wear from use as pictured. |
