The pictures show views of this Old New York City Advertising Souvenir Salt Pepper & Bottle Opener Bar Set. These are not dated but they are believed to be from the 1940s or 1950s. Unfortunately the two sides missed geting photographed. They have colorful old round decals on them. The left side has the Statue of Liberty and the Right side has The Empire State Building. Besides the decals, the front of the bench holder is marked ''NEW YORK CITY''. The set is of a man and a woman on a park bench. The shakers are made of painted wood with metal tops. They each have holes for use as a shaker and a slot opening to pour or fill. On the bottom are metal bar tools. One has a corkscrew and one has a bottle opener. To judge the sizes the bench holder measures 4-3/16'' wide. The set appears to be in mint condition as pictured. |
