| | | The picture below shows a larger view of all (4) Old Unopened Plastic Magic Novelty Ball Puzzles in this lot. These are not dated but they are believed to be from the 1960s. They were probably sold from a five and dime store, a magic shop, novelty shop or from a novelty catalog. The trick is to get a ball in each hole at the same time. To show that it can be easily done we did all of the puzzle before taking the picture below. These are made of yellow and red hard plastic. They each come in a package with a header card that pictures a frustrated man trying to do the puzzle. Both sides of each header card are marked as follows: PLASTIC BALL PUZZLE IF YOU SPIN IT BOTH BALLS WILL FALL INTO THE END HOLES CAN'T BE DONE ANY OTHER WAY! EMPRESS BRAND HONG KONG The puzzles each measure about 2-1/2'' long. The packages may have some light shelf wear and one has a piece separated as pictured, but the puzzles all appear to be in mint condition. |
