The box is not dated but this set is ©1946 by H. Fishlove & Company of Chicago, Illinois. The set has white and black scottie dogs on magnets. Depending on how you hold them, they attract and repel from each other. The box is similar to an old match box with a drawer. It pictures two Scottish terriers by a fire hydrant and there are instructions on the back. The box is marked: TRICKY DOGS The two dogs fit neatly inside the box. To judge the sizes the box measures about 1-1/2'' x 2-1/16'' x 5/8''. The dog set appears to be in mint condition and the box is poor with old scotch tape all over it as pictured. |
