The pictures show larger front, side and back views of this 1940 Flash Gordon and The Perils of Mongo Better Little Book. The book was written by Alex Raymond based on the famous Newspaper Strip. It was published by the Whitman Publishing Company of Racine, Wisconsin. It was 1937, 1938, 1940 by King Features Syndicate, Inc. of New York, N,Y.. There are (432) pages with black & white illustrations and the story. In the back there is an advertising page for Tom Beatty, Ace of the Service by Richard X. Vale. The book measures 3-5/8'' x 4-1/2'' x 1-1/2''. It appears to be in good condition with some normal wear as pictured. We are not graders so please judge the condition by the clear pictures below. There is a vertical crease on the cover, and a boys name and Lowell, Massachusetts address written on the first blank page.
