The bracelet is not dated and the year that it was made is unknown. It is made of a gold colored metal that is probably brass. More charms could be added. The back or the inside of the charm could be engraved. It has a heart shaped charm that slides open to attach tiny photographs or put a message inside. The heart has an insignia or emblem for the university that has a lit torch with rays, leaves or branches, and a scroll. It is marked as follows: NORTHEASTERN UNIVERSITY
