It has a connected chain as it was found that may have once connected on a pocket watch chain or to some kind of pocket fob or charm. The chain can be easily removed and / or replaced with a different one. There is a blank rectangular spot on one side for engraving initials, or a monogram. We do not clean, repair, fill, or test lighters, that will require fluid. It is marked on the bottom as follows: SUPREME ®
