This is a 1956 edition hard back book of stories to teach elementary or young grade school students how to read. The book is by William S. Gray, Marion Monroe, A. Sterl Artley and May Hill Arbuthnot. It is ©1956 by Scott, Foresman and Company. There are (194) pages of stories and colorful 1950s illustrations. The book measures about 6'' x 8-1/4'' x 3/4''. It appears to be in good used condition as pictured. It has normal wear and tear from being used. There is a childs name written in pencil on the first blank page. There is scattered soiling from little hands and some pencil marks throughout. |
