| | | | The picture below shows a larger view of this 1920s Cracker Jack Pop Corn Confection Tin & Lead Toy Prize Slide Tube Whistle. The tube is made of gold colored tin. The ends are made of lead or pot metal, and there is a wire with a loop to slide in and out to change the tone. For some reason it is not whistling. The whistle is not dated but it is believed to be from the 1920s. It is marked “JAPAN” on the bottom of the mouth piece, but the maker is unknown. The whistle with the slide in, measures about 4'' long. It appears to be in excellent condition as pictured. As mentioned above it is currently not whistling. |
