The second picture shows the back sides, and the third picture shows closer front and back views of the two coins that are included in this lot. This is an accumulated lot with a variety of items. Included here are the following: The first item is a newspaper advertisement from The Halleran Agency (real estate, insurance, appraisals) of Flushing, N.Y.. It pictures the Fair’s Trylon and Perishere, as well as the business’s door. This ad was printed in the New York Herald Tribune newspaper on Sunday, 30 October 1938. There are (4) post cards. Three of these are linen. Three were mailed, with a message, a postage stamp, and are postmarked. One only has a name penciled on it. The titles or captions read as follows: W.F.4 – THE TRYLON AND PERISPHERE, NEW YORK WORLD’S FAIR 1939 (sent to Medford, Massachusetts, with 3 cent Thomas Jefferson stamp) W.F.20 – FORD MOTOR COMPANY BUILDING, NEW YORK WORLD’S FAIR 1939 (sent to Quincy, Massachusetts, with 1 cent George Washington stamp) COMMUNICATIONS BUILDING, NEW YORK WORLD’S FAIR 1939 (not mailed with a name penciled on the back) THE COMMODORE NEW YORK;S BEST LOCATED HOTEL “PLAN NOW TO VISIT THE NEW YORK WORLD’S FAIR AND STAY AT THE COMMODORE” (sent to Kings Park, New York, with 2 cent George Washington stamp) Next there are (5) different New York World’s Fair advertising match covers. All of these are used and they do not have any matches or strikers. Four of the five have advertising inside as well. These are from the following places: CHR. BJELLAND & CO. MANUFACTURING OF DISTINCTIVE BOOK MATCHES FOR ADVERTISING VISIT THE NEW YORK WORLD’S FAIR 1940 ADMISSION 50c There is an old Kodak EKS Kodatone black & white photograph. It has (6) people sitting on a deck or boardwalk. The World’s Fair reference here is the newspaper that the woman on the left is sitting on. The headline on it reads: EXPOSITION PUTS NEW LIFE IN EVERY LINE OF BUSINESS The final two items included here are N.Y.W.F. advertising souvenir coins or tokens. One is an elongated cent or stretched penny, and the other is a souvenir token coin. They both have the Trylon and Perisphere, and the round one also has another building on the back.
