| | | | The picture shows a view of the (2) Old Packages of TV Guide Magazine Advertising Premium Food Picks in this lot. These are called ''TV PIX'' and they were an advertising premium ''compliments of TV Guide'' magazine. These are not dated but they are believed to be from the 1950s or 1960s. The left bag pictured is unopened and it contains (10) pix and the right one is opened and it has (7) for a total of (17) plus the two marked plastic bags. The pix or picks are made in the shape of the TV Guide logo with older television set tubes in white, red, yellow, and pink plastic and some are multi colored marbleized plastic. They are each marked ''TV GUIDE'' and the bags are marked ''PERMAPRINT MILPRINT, INC.''. These are to decorate and hold fruit together in drinks, sandwiches together, or on snacks or hors d'oeuvres. To judge the sizes the plastic pix each measure 3-1/2'' long. All (17) of the pix appear to be in mint unused condition. The bags have some old shelf wear or dust as pictured. |
