| | | | The picture shows this Large Colorful Old Lowney Chocolates Holiday Advertisement. It is dated January and is believed to be from 1917. This Lowneys ad pictures an employee in uniform holding candy boxes and an old Santa Claus mask. The second picture shows the other side which is the magazine cover. It has a colorful picture of a pretty young lady looking at the photograph of an Army Soldier, probably her boyfriend serving in the military from World War I. The Walter M. Lowney Company was from Boston, Massachusetts and Montreal, Canada. It measures 10-5/8" x 13-3/4". It is in excellent condition with a hardly noticeable vertical crease. |
