The picture shows a front and back view of this 1955 Boy Scouts Two Man Rescue Race 1st Prize Award Medal. At the top is a pin section and hanging from it is a red, white, and blue ribbon. Hanging on the ribbon is a gold colored metal medal or medallion. On the front is a raised image of a Boy Scout in a canoe and the Boy Scouts insignia or emblem within an ornate border. It is marked on the two sides as follows:
