| The picture below shows a larger view of this ©1983 ESCI 1/12 Scale Lockheed F 104 Starfighter Jet Plane Cockpit Model Kit. This kit is complete with the box (top & bottom), the instructions (in 8 different languages) the sealed bag of plastic parts, a black base, a sheet of cloth decals, a sheet of regular decals, and a metallic looking plate for the display base. The instructions state that this jet fighter was one of the most widely used in the 1960s, particularly for daytime interception. It entered the Air Force of the U.S.A., West Germany, Italy, Netherlands, Belgium, Canada, Turkey, Denmark, Norway, and Taiwan. To judge the size, the measures about 15-3/4'' x 101/4'' x 2-3/4''. The model kit appears to be in mint condition as pictured. The box has some indents and a small end tear from handling and storage. |
