The picture below shows a larger view of all (48) Old Western Cowboy Hat Miniatures and Gum Ball Machine Toy Prize Charms in this lot. This is an accumulated lot. There were many different Cowboy toys that were used as radio, cereal, and gumball machine prizes from the 1930s to the 1960s. There were many items that were also used and giveaways by Cowboy heroes such as The Lone Ranger, Gene Autry, Hopalong Cassidy, Roy Rogers and more... Items were also used as rodeo souvenirs, circus souvenirs, carnival prizes, five and dime store toys, or more.

Some of the larger hats here were most likely from small toy dolls. One of these has a bonus it has a hat but also a steer head and a pin on the back. Often the charms were sewn on to hats. These particular plastic charms were used as toy prizes in 1950s and 1960s gumball machines. These are generic cowboy or not character specific charms. These charms are not marked and the makers are unknown. All of these are all made of plastic and a few of them are metal coated. All of these for one price! To judge the sizes the two largest hats measure about 2-5/8'' wide. These hats appear to from excellent to mint condition as pictured.
