The booklet is titled ''APPLEDORE HOUSE ISLES OF SHOALS OFF PORTSMOUTH, N.H.''. The booklet has (20) pages filled with pictures and History of the Isles of Shoals. On the inside cover is a poem on Appledore by the famous Poetess of the Isles of Shoals, Celia Thaxter. The back cover has a poem by James Russell Lowell titled ''PICTURES OF APPLEDORE''. The booklet was put out by Laighton Brothers who still have steam boat and U.S. Mail service to the islands. The booklet measures 6'' x 4-5/8''. It is in excellent condition as pictured.
