| | | | The picture shows a view of this 1968 General Mills Cheerios Kid Cereal Advertising Character Comic Book Advertisement. This ad has the Cheerios Kid high above the Earth with a box of Cheerios. We are not sure how he will eat the cereal with that helmet on. He is shown with the Intelsat II Satellite which was to be sent above the planet in 1968. This advertisement came from an Archies comic book. The ad measures about 6-3/4'' x 10-1/8''. It appears to be in near mint condition with a tiny edge tear on the right side as pictured. This 1968 General Mills Cheerios Cereal advertisement was professionally photographed and was chosen to be featured in full color on page #54 of the ©2011 ''The Great American Cereal Book'' by Marty Gitlin and Topher Ellis. The nice hard cover book was published by Abrams Image of New York City and it is now available. ISBN: 978-0-8109-9799-8. |
