| | | | The picture shows a front and back view of this 1952 Flash Gordon Character Space Belt & Buckle. This belt and buckle was sold in 1952 as part of a carded space outfit set by Esquire Novelty Company. The set had also included a pair of space goggles and a wrist compass. Only the belt and buckle are included here. The belt is made of imprinted vinyl. Imprinted in blue are images of Flash Gordon, space ships, and planets. The football shaped buckle is made of silver plastic and features a rocketship and stars. There are no markings other than the ''Flash Gordon'' name repeated on the belt. The belt and buckle together measure 33-5/8'' long. It appears to be in excellent condition with the following: the left vertical post on the buckle is missing and the rivit on the belt has some surface rust that could be cleaned. |
