| The pictures below show larger views of this Old Hopalong Cassidy & Topper Cowboy Character School Student Pencil Case. The pencil case is not dated but it is believed to be from the 1950s. There are no school supplies included with this case. The top of the case has a color image of Hoppy and his white horse Topper within a horse shoe. There is a hillside background with clouds and two wooden signs that read as follows: HOPALONG CASSIDY
PENCIL CASE The case or box is made of simulated tan wood, with knot holes on the bottom. It has a snap close cover that opens to reveal a red interior with compartments for pencils, pens, erasures, ruler, crayons, etc.. Lowering the front cover reveals a hidden drawer for more school supplies. Pencil case measures about 11-1/4'' x 5'' x 2''. It appears to be excellent condition with only light wear as pictured. There are the initials “P.G.” inside the cover. |
