The picture shows a view of all (12) Various Old Arcade Fortune Teller Machine Fortune Cards and Slips in this lot. These are not dated but all of them are old. They came from various arcade fortune machines or weight scales that gave your fortune with your weight. Most of these have print on the other side as well.

The two with pictures of an actress and an actor are both from a Peerless weight scale. One has Gloria Swanson. It was from a Liggett's Drug Store. The other has Edward Everett Horton of 20th Century Fox. It is an Engrav-o-tints portrait of a movie star.

The two in the center with the hole are from a table top fortune teller that you would ask a question. You would get an answer to your question, a lucky playing card number with suit, and a fortune on the other side.

There are (4) that begin with ''YOU'' in the picture. These came from fortune telling scales. The green one came from Kresge's and the other three came from F. W. Woolworth Stores.

The two small gold ones and the larger yellow one are all on heavy card stock paper. These came from different arcade fortune machines.

The last one is a longer strip. It either came from a machine or an old fortune cookie.

All,of these for one price! To judge the sizes the yellow card (top center) measures 3'' x 1-7/8''. These appear to vary from good to mint condition as pictured. Some of these (the ''YOU'' cards and the (2) small gold cards) have a spot of old paste on the back because they came from old scrap books.
