| | | The picture shows a front and back view of all (6) 1940s Kellogg's PEP Cereal Prize Comic Character Pin Back Buttons in this lot. The PEP pins were created by Sam Gold shortly after World War II and used as prizes in Kelloggs Pep cereal. Over several years there were several sets. Altogether there were (86) different character tin pinback buttons created. Superman was used in all of the sets. Each of the pins are marked on the back. They have a character, their name, a date, and some information on the edge. The pins in this lot are marked as follows: EMMY - Copr. 1946 Famous Artist Syn. BLONDIE - Copr. 1946 Famous Artist Syn. HAROLD TEEN - Copr. 1945 Famous Artist Syn. JUDY - Copr. 1946 Famous Artist Syn. SANDY (Orphan Annie's dog) - Copr. 1945 Famous Artist Syn. JUNIOR TRACY - Copr. 1946 Famous Artist Syn.
