| | | | The picture below shows several larger views of this Old Hamilton Watch Advertising Velvet Lined & Hinged Display Box. Shown is the closed box, the opened box with blue velvet bottom, and the silk (?) lined box top with a Hamilton Watch crest logo. There are two clips on the velvet insert to hold a wristwatch inside. The top of the box has some fancy scroll work and the Hamilton crest with a shield, a crown, a suit of armor head, and a banner. The box is made of an early type of plastic, bakelite, or celluloid. There is no watch included here. This box would greatly add to the value of a loose old Hamilton watch. The watch box measures 10-1/8'' x 1'' x 2-1/8''. It appears to be in excellent or better condition as pictured. On the bottom there are some old sticker price glue marks that could be cleaned off, but we will let the buyer decide to remove them or not. |
