| The pictures show four views of this Fancy Old White Beaded Ladies Purse With Green Stones & Pearls. This purse is not dated and the year that it was made is unknown. We could not find any manufacturers name and the maker is unknown. If you recognize this purse and know the maker, please let us know. This fancy evening purse is covered in white beads and many of them have a flat surface that glitters like sequence in the light. The ornamental metal clasp has many green stones and (faux?) pearls in the design. The inside has a white silky cloth with four pockets or compartments. There is a short metal chain for a handle. The purse measures about 9'' wide x 5-1/2'' tall. We are not experts on purses, but this one appears to be nice, detailed, quality, purse that in good condition as pictured. It does need some work however. There is one line of beads that is missing. That line can be seen in the center on both sides. Some of the small green stones have fallen out of the clasp. The last thing is that the cloth inside does have some spotting or discoloration from use, most likely from some old makeup. |
