| | | The picture below shows a larger view of this 1940s World War II United States Navy Sailors Marching In A City Parade Photograph. This is actually a cropped black & white real photo post card. Unfortunately we do not know the location or the purpose of the parade. The photo was found amongst many World War II photos from many different locations. The Sailors are marching in dress white uniforms with rifles with many civilians attending in a sea of hats on their heads. A few signs can be seen including a Cigar Store in the lower right, and some flags on some buildings. The photograph measures about 4-1/2'' x 3''. It appears to be in excellent condition as pictured. It has a little black scrap book paper on the back from being in an album. |
