| | | The pictures below show larger front and back views of the Pair of (2) Different Large 1960s Framed Alvaro Big Eye Children Prints in this lot. They are of two sad looking working class children. They were done by an Artist named Alvaro. They are not dated but are believed to be from the 1960s when many Artists like Gig, Keane, Igor, Eden, Lee, Sherle, and many others were doing these big eyed or sad children and animal art works. The prints are done on a textured art board. These prints are in their original cream colored plastic frames with flowers. On the back are plastic and wire hangers for hanging on a wall. These are sad looking children. The first print is of a young cleaning girl in a dress and apron holding a broom and bucket. The second one is of a young boy with blue jeans, suspenders, a short shirt, and a handkerchief hanging out of his pocket. Including the frames these each measure about 9-1/2'' x 21-1/2''. They are in excellent or better condition as pictured. |
