The pictures show a views of this ©1959 Hassenfeld Brothers Magic Moon Rocks Moonscape Garden. The fourth picture shows, for reference only, what the original box looks like. PLEASE NOTE: In this listing, the only thing that is included is the moon landscape with rockets and Astronaut. There is no box, instructions, or crystals included here.

The ©1959 Hasbro Magic Moon Rocks kit was a Art Linkletter toy kit for you to chemically grow colorful crystals to learn about, watch, and view. The pre Apollo moon landing moonscape here is made of molded plastic with craters, rocket ships, and an Astronaut. One Astronaut is broken off and missing. The center section is where the crystals would be grown. It is marked on the bottom as follows:

MOON ROCKS tm
MFG. BY HASSENFELD BROS, INC.

© LINK RESEARCH CORP.

The moonscape base measures 6-3/4'' wide. It appears to be in excellent condition with one Astronaut missing as pictured. On the side of the growing chamber there is a white area next to the missing Astronaut. This may have been from a chemical reaction to glue. Again, as mentioned above, there is no box, instructions, or crystals included here.
