The picture below shows a larger view of all (10) Different Small Colorful Old Victorian Looking Porcelain Figures or Figurines in this lot. These are not dated but they are believed to be from the 1920s to the 1970s. All of these appear to be of Victorian era looking people. Several of these have some gold paint accents. All but one of these have a marking. Included here from left to right they are as follows: #1.) Young man in bib overalls, a neckerchief, and a plaid shirt, with a bugle horn. Marked “SCHMID” on the back. #2.) Young boy with shirt, pants, & hat. Marked “MADE IN JAPAN” on the back. #3.) Victorian woman holding what appears to be a violin. Marked “JAPAN” on the bottom. #4.) Man with a black outfit, top hat, scarf, and holding a ladder (Lamplighter?). #5.) Victorian woman in a dress with a basket or bowl of flowers or fruit on her head. Marked “JAPAN” on the bottom. #6.) Young blode hair girl in a skirt and a bow in her hair (Dancer?). Marked “JAPAN” on the bottom. #7.) White statue looking woman figure. Marked “JAPAN” on the back of the base. #8.) White statue looking woman figure with a jug or vase. Marked “JAPAN” on the back of the base. #9.) Victorian man figure wearing a fancy suit and hat. Marked “JAPAN” on the bottom. #10.) Victorian man figure wearing a fancy suit and hat. Marked “JAPAN” on the bottom. It has a drop of dried paint on his coat. All ten of these for one price! To judge the sizes the (#3 woman figure) measures about 5-'' tall. These figurines appear to range from good to mint condition as pictured. We do not see any breaks, chips, or cracks on these, but some could use a good cleaning. |
