The pictures below show larger views of this 1930s Campfire Marshmallows Advertising In Store Premium School or Memorandum Tablet. The first picture shows the cover with Campfire Marshmallows packaging. The second picture shows the Angelus – Campfire Marshmallows Electric Bar-B-Q Toaster mail away premium offer, and unused order form on the back of the cover. The premium marshmallow toaster would toast a single marshmallow at a time and it came with small metal forks. The pages are unused and simple lined paper. The cover also has advertising for First National Markets Prize Bread, both Sliced or Regular for 7 cents a loaf. Sliced bread being offered was a new thing in the 1920s and 1930s. This School Tablet was offered at an in store display and could be had in the 1930s with the purchase of a one pound package, or two half pound packages of Campfire Marshmallows. The offer was probably extended to include Angelus Marshmallows as well. The Premium School or Memorandum Tablet measures about 5-3/8'' x 8-7/8'' x 1/4''. The tablet is unused. It appears to be in excellent condition with normal age yellowing to the paper as pictured. |
