The letter opener is not dated but it is old. It is made up of layers of blue, yellow and clear hard plastic. It has a ship line pennant flag and it is marked with recessed lettering on the two sides as follows: ELMES

PIRAEUS - GREECE The letter opener measures about 8-9/16'' long. It appears to be in excellent condition with some wear from use. For some reason there is a notch on the blue side of the handle end as pictured. |
