The badges are not dated but they are believed to be from the 1920s or 1930s. They are not marked and the maker is unknown. The badges each have a shield shape with an eagle at the top. The two are embossed as follows: POLICE

CAPTAIN CAPTAIN The badge on the right was also used in a mail away premium police set that included the badge and a few other metal toy items. I do not have a Cracker Jack ID number for these prizes. Both of these badges for one price! To judge the sizes, the right badge measures about 2-1/16'' x 2-1/2''. The right one appears to be in excellent to near mint condition and the left one appears to be good with some wear as pictured. |
