| | | | The picture shows a closed and opened view of this Old Painted Porcelain & Metal Egg Trinket Box. The egg is not dated but it is believed to be old. There is no marking and the maker is unknown. The box is either for decoration or is to hold some special trinket or piece of jewelry. It would make a great gift box for a ring or another small item. The egg is glazed dark blue inside and out and it has a gold and gray design on the outside. There are three gold painted feet. There is a gold color metal hinged ring section with a small flower which holds the two egg sections together. Closed it measures 3-3/4'' tall. It appears to be in mint condition as pictured. |
