The picture below shows a larger view of all (7) Different Old Unusual Car or Automobile Color Photograph Slides in this lot. These interesting slides stood out amongst many old accumulated auto photo slides. Included here, in the order pictured, are the following: #1.) Slide is dated May 1961. Children and adults in an old home made hot rod or rat rod car in front of a farm house. We are not sure if they are just posing in the car or if one of the kids is driving it. Other people and a house can be seen in the background. #2.) This image is in a metal slide frame marked “SWISS MADE”. The image has what appears to be (5) old foreign sports or race cars with mechanics and other people around them. The building behind them has many signs. There are signs over each of the doors or bays that could be read if blown up, but the larger ones read as follows: AUTO MOBIL REVUE IMMER AKSUELL! REVUE AUTOMOBILE TOUJOURS A LA PAGE! MARKENOELE VON WELT BP CASTROL ESSOLUBE MOTOR OIL ESSO MOBIL OIL SHELL VEEDOL #3. & #4.) Slides dated June 1980. These two slides have the same dune buggy looking vehicle. It is a two seat yellow car with a flower covered cloth top. One has a woman driving it and the other has a man in front of it. There is a sign on the building that reads: RUE DU ROI OSCAR II EX #5.) Next there is a 1950s red & white station wagon car. A woman is sleeping on a bed inside and there is a fold out table on the side where she has a bottled drink, and a thermos bottle. On the floor in the front appears to be an old red Coca-Cola metal cooler. The make and model of the car is unknown, but the hubcaps have a name that could be made out if blown up. #6.) This car is in a parade. Behind it there is a sign that appears to read “Ringe Memorial School”, red, white, and blue banners, and there are 1950s & 1960s vintage buses and cards on a hill. The car is covered in red and pink flowers with a white paper fringe at the bottom. It has an advertising sign on the side that reads: LETOURNEAU INSURANCE AND REAL ESTATE #7.) Slide dated May 1975. This one has a cartoon or comic with a Police Officer writing out a ticket. There are two guys in the car, each with a steering wheel. The front of the car reads as follows: DUAL CONTROL AUTO All seven of these for one price! The photo slides with their frames each measure about 2'' x 2''. They appear to be in excellent to mint condition as pictured. |
