These pinback buttons are not dated but they are believed to be from the late 1800s or early 1900s. They were used as a premium from Perfection Cigarettes. They appear to be from the same set with imprinted backs. The maker is unknown. The printed backs are marked as follows: (gray) PERFECTION CIGARETTE FACTORY NO. 42, 4th DISTRICT NORTH CAROLINA. We do not know how many are in the complete set. Each of these pinback buttons has a saying from the Victorian period. In the order pictured, they are marked as follows: SHOW METHE SMOOTHEST ROLL YOUR HOOP KEEP THE CHANGE QUIT YOUR KIDDIN All of these for one price! The tin pinback buttons each measure 1-1/4'' wide.
