| | | | The pictures below show a larger front and back views of this Large Old Hand Painted French Limoges Plate With Flowers. Shown is the top, the bottom, a closer view of the marking on the back, and the fourth picture shows two viewd of a tiny chip (see below). This large plate is not dated and the year that it was made in unknown. It has colorful flowers in pink, white, and greens. There is a scrollwork edge that is painted in gold. There us a hole on the back to string it for hanging on a wall. It is marked on two spots on the back as follows: FRANCE LIMOGES LIMOGES

HAND PAINTED The large plate measures about 12'' wide. It appears to be in near mint condition with a tiny edge chip at about the 4:00 position as pictured. Please see picture #4 below where the chip is pictured from the front and back. |
