The picture shows all (7) Different Small Old Military Airplane Related Items in this lot. At least one of these is from the U.S. Air Force. Others may be from the U.S. Army Air Corps.. The first item is an old enameled "UNITED STATES AIR FORCE GOC OBSERVER" Wings pin. It has a screw back section. It is on the card it was found on. The pin appears to be in excellent condition and the card has creases and spotting.Next is a larger enameled pin. It has wings and an airplane propeller. There are two pins on the back and it is marked "6-23 MADE IN U.S.A." It has some light wear but is still in excellent condition.Next is a colorful enbroidered cloth patch. It pictured two fighter airplanes shooting down two others in front of the sunset over water. It is marked "SUN DOWNERS" It is very clean and appears to be in mint condition.Next is an old red bakelite airplane pencil sharpener. This I believe is from World War II. It has a decal with two stars and reads "KEEP 'EM FLYING!" The hole for the pencil sharpener is in the front of the plane. Unfortunately the tail section took a hit and is broken as pictured.Next is an old brass uniform clothing button. On the front is wings and an airplane propeller. On the back is a scrollwork design. It appears to be in excellent condition. After that there is a small wings pin with an airplane propeller. I see no markings on this one. It appears to be in mint condition. The last item in this lot is a single small playing card. It is marked "AIRMAN" It pictures a man in uniform with a bag and an airplane flying behind him. All of these items for one price! To judge the sizes the patch measures 3-1/4" wide. |
