| | | | The picture shows both Different Size Old Peanut Embossed Jars in this lot.We are not certain what these jars originally held, but one would guess peanut butter or another peanut product. They have been made by the same glass or jar company. There are raised images of roasted peanuts in their shell all over except for an area for a paper label on the other side not shown. Neither clear glass jar has a paper label but the smaller one has a lid with a stamped price of 29¢ on it. The date these are from is unknown but they are old. The bottom of each are marked as follows: DESIGN PATD.
5472 - 12 DESIGN PATD.
5478 - 11 To judge the sizes the larger jar measures 5-3/8" tall. The glass jars are both in mint condition, but the lid on the smaller one is a little dirty. |
