This book contains real life stories of men who have been awarded the Medal of Honor from the Civil War up to the Korean Conflict. The cover pictures the Medalof Honor and three U.S. Army Soldiers. The book is by Captain Gordon D. Shirreffs (USAR) and it was illustrated by William L. Marsh. The book was printed in the U.S.A. published and ©1960 by the Whitman Publishing Company of Racine, Wisconsin. There are (216) pages and a hard back cover. The book measures 5-5/8'' x 7-3/4'' x 7/8''. It appears to be in excellnt used condition as pictured. It is inscribed inside, the book was given as a 1961 Christmas present to a boy by his Grandparents. There is also a stamping on the last page.
