| | | The picture below shows a larger view of all (6) 1920s Actor & Actress Movie Star Non Sports Trading Cards in this lot. These are not dated and the exact year that they were made is unknown. They are not marked and the maker is unknown as well. We have not had these cards available before and we do not know where they came from or how they were acquired. They could have been a premium from a movie theater, with bubble gum, cut from candy boxes or some other kind of packaging, possible strip cards, or some other different way. We just do not know. The backs are blank. These cards were made in a variety of different colors. Also, there are two different sizes here and two are of the same actor. They have a name and the film studio that they were working for. In the order pictured, these are marked as follows: CHARLES FARRELL - FOX WM. HAINES - METRO BEBE DANIELS - RKO CHARLES FARRELL - FOX GARY COOPER - PARAMOUNT WM. HAINES - METRO All of these for one price! To judge the sizes the Gary Cooper card measures about 2-3/8'' x 3-3/8'' and the Bebe Daniels card measures about 1-3/4'' x 2-3/4''. We are not card graders. These appear to be in only fair condition with wear creasing, and spotting as pictured. The larger William Haines card has a penciled outline and spotting on the back. The smaller William Haines and the pink Charles Farrell cards have some extra paper on the back from being in a scrap book at some time. |
