The card is not dated but it is believed to be from the 1800s. Thomas Briggs started the company in Portland, Maine n 1876. It was not only a Confection manufacturing business, but he was also a Dealer in fruits, nuts, cigars, and more. The card pictures a ladies hand holding a variety of flowers and it is marked as follows: BRIGGS
