| The picture below shows larger front and back views of this Colorful Old Hopalong Cassidy Cowboy Hero & Topper Ceramic Character Plate. This plate is not dated but it is from the early 1950s. This ceramic plate has a rope like border or rim. It features an imprinted color comic book type image of Hoppy, with his Western hat, shirt, neckerchief, slide, rope, holster, and his drawn revolver gun. He is riding his horse Topper through a desert. It has an inscription from Hoppy that reads: TO MY FRIEND
- HOPPY The back of the plate has a gold Cowboy boot, and is marked as follows: HOPALONG CASSIDY
