This advertising pinback button was part of a large 1896 collection that we had acquired. It has a lightly colored black imprinted image of an early fire wagon or steam engine on a tan or beige background. The back has a paper insert with some fancy scroll designs. It is marked on the two sides and the edge as follows: MANCHESTER LOCOMOTIVE WORKS THE WHITEHEAD & HOAG. CO.
