The pictures show a front and back view of all (3) 1924 & 1951 Honolulu Hawaii Transportation Token Coins in this lot. These are made of unknown metals. The two smaller tokens are from before Hawaii became a state and the larger one is from a year after. These are believed to be from either bus, train, or trolley service. The larger token has a Hula Dancer with a grass skirt and a lei on each side and it is marked on the two sides as follows: HONOLULU RAPID TRANSIT COMPANY LTD. TOKEN 1951 The two smaller tokens each read as follows: HONOLULU RAPID TRANSIT CO. LTD. 1924 GOOD FOR ONE FULL FARE The larger token measures 7/8'' wide and the smaller ones each measure 5/8'' wide. One appears to be in near mint condition and the other two are good as pictured. |
